“This is an apartment complex where most units open onto a central courtyard. We rented 5 units (or about 1/3 of the rooms) and weren't quite sure what to expect other than location. Mike and his family were great communicators but we still weren't sure. Showed up and the apartments were recently renovated, the fridges were stocked with breakfast and the layout was as expected. We were a large and diverse group (many families and a dozen kids under 12 years old) but the courtyard and small front yard were great for a picnic and then the apartments hosted a dinner progressive. Yes we made too much noise at times, and neighbors were generally understanding or at least polite on asking us to quiet down. In the end we all had young kids and needed quiet too so it all worked. Oh, and the location is great with public space (a marsh) across the street and the beach less than a block away. The units even had beach supplies which helped with packing logistics! Beach was a great set up for kids with small waves and plenty of space. Recommend!”

“These apartments are the perfect place to stay in Carpinteria and/or Santa Barbara area in general. The units are so well-stocked with such thoughtful and impressive touches. We had a large group staying in multiple units and appreciated the ability to gather the larger group in some of the bigger units or out in the courtyard, and then able to retreat into our private spaces as needed. The location is fantastic – just a couple blocks from a gorgeous beach (with nearby restroom facitilies) and a few blocks from town and the Amtrak station. The owners live on site and were very responsive. I want to back with my family for a beach getaway, and I also recommend and would come back again with a large group. Such a great stay!!”
