Is there parking available?

There is usually ample and convenient street parking in front of our building. We have 10 parking spaces behind our building, which we like to use as “overflow parking” when street parking is full. Guests are asked to re-park on the street once street parking becomes available.

How many nights minimum?

During summer months and holidays there is a 7-night minimum stay. For the rest of the year there is a 5-night minimum stay. We also offer shorter stays based on availability. If you see in the calendar that there is availability during the dates you need, for less than the minimum, please inquire about staying less than five nights with us.

What’s your cancellation policy?

Full refund 2 months prior to arrival date. No refund after 60 day period.

Do you offer beach towels and supplies?

Tropic Shores has beach towels, chairs and umbrellas. In summer months, there is a sundries store open on the beach. Rincon Designs and Rite Aid are nearby for other beach accessories. 

Are kids welcome?

Of course! Guests of all ages can relax and enjoy a Carpinteria beach vacation. 

What is included in the kitchen of each unit?

Carpinteria vacation rental units at Tropic Shores have full kitchens that are equipped with kitchenware for guests to prepare meals. In addition to staples like condiments (mayonnaise, mustard and ketchup), units have bottled water, juice and soda and the entire property has Lifesource water filtration.

Are pets allowed?

We welcome pets at Tropic Shores. Let us know when booking for further details.
